This policy explains what information HVAC-R Jobs (operated by Omni-Intel USA LLC) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Job seekers: name, email, phone (optional), home state and ZIP code, how far you'll travel or whether you'll relocate, job type, minimum pay, experience, certifications and licenses, and the job preferences you enter.
- Employers: company name, contact email and posting details. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
- Automatically: basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used to run and secure the Site.
How we use it
- To send you job alerts that match your preferences.
- To publish and manage job postings and process payments.
- To operate, secure and improve the Site.
Candidate Network: sharing and sale of job-seeker information
If, and only if, you check the Candidate Network box, we provide your name, contact details and job preferences to employers who pay us for access to candidates that match their openings. Under some state privacy laws this may count as a “sale” of personal information. Employers must agree to use your information only to recruit you for a job and not to resell or share it. We never post your contact details publicly.
If you don't check that box, we use your information only to send you job alerts, and we do not share it with employers.
Your choices
- Leave the Candidate Network or stop alerts: click “Unsubscribe” in any alert email, or email us. This stops alerts and removes you from future employer lists. We can't recall information that was already delivered to an employer, but we will ask them to stop contacting you if you request it.
- Access, correct or delete: email us and we will respond within 30 days.
- Opt out of sale/sharing: email us with “Do not sell or share my information”. We'll honor it without requiring you to delete your account.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to host the Site, send email and process payments (Stripe). They may process your information only to provide services to us.
Retention and security
We keep job-seeker profiles while you're subscribed and delete inactive profiles within 24 months. We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The Site is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We'll post any changes here and update the date above. If we make a material change to how we share job-seeker information, we'll ask for your consent again.
